On tv-shows like Top of the Pops, CMI’s were often used, just for stage dressing

Synths used on “Axel F”: Roland Jupiter 8 and JX-3P, Moog Modular 15, a Yamaha DX7 and a LinnDrum. No Fairlights involved here, but hey: if it looks cool… Who’s gonna check?!

In the ’80’s, the CMI was all over the place. Well, some were fed up with Fairlights…
